As part of the current review of the Toronto Official Plan, the City is updating and strengthening the Official Plan heritage policies. After consultation with the public and with assistance from a team of consultants, City Staff are proposing new Official Plan heritage policies. The City wants your opinion on these policies before they go forward for Council’s consideration.
City Staff are hosting a Heritage Open House to present and meaningfully discuss the proposed draft heritage policies on Monday, September 10, 2012 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm in Room 308-309 of Metro Hall, 55 John Street. Members of the public and interested stakeholders are invited to review the proposed policies alongside City Staff, hear from and ask questions of the City’s heritage and policy experts, and break out into smaller group discussions. Click here to access the proposed draft policies. Additional information on the Heritage Open House and subsequent consultation events will be posted on our Events and Meetings webpage.
