2012 Public Information Meetings:
Review of Toronto Water’s Capital Program and Funding Sources – two new sessions added in August

The City of Toronto is reviewing Toronto Water’s Capital Program and funding sources.

In 2006, City Council adopted a long-term infrastructure renewal plan for Toronto Water and a funding strategy to increase water rates 9% every year over nine years, ending in 2014. Since then, factors affecting the total revenue collected for Toronto Water and emerging infrastructure needs require an updated plan to fund the delivery of safe drinking water.

We want to hear from you to identify issues and develop alternative options to the current funding strategy. A report on the feedback will be presented to the appropriate Committee in September 2012.
