Trinity Bellwoods Park has many stories to tell; during the walk we will trace the route of Garrison Creek through the park, look for traces of buried bridges, discover the location of a Blockhouse that defended Toronto during the War of 1812, find evidence of the original Trinity College as well as several demolished houses, and visit a 200 year old Bitternut Hickory tree, one of the oldest trees in Toronto.
